Next year’s Realme smartphone line-up could include another GT-series model with high-end specs, like the Snapdragon 888 chipset.
- Realme may be working on a new GT series phone with high end specs.
- The name of the next GT series phone is unclear at this time.
- The Realme GT series phone is expected to arrive next year.
Realme is expected to launch the GT 2 Pro later this month, but it might not be the last in this series. The Realme GT series could be ready for the addition of a mysterious phone that has now surfaced on the Chinese certification authority TENAA’s website. The new phone doesn’t have a name yet, but has the model number RMX3310. The listing also contains photos that confirm the design, while specifications are also published.
The unknown Realme phone appeared on TENAA with both front and back designs. From the back the phone looks exactly like the GT Neo 2. I even find it similar to the Realme 9i which was leaked a few days ago, so I’m not sure if this is essentially a phone from the GT series we are talking about. Regardless, the model in the pictures is 8.6mm thick and weighs 199.8 grams. It could arrive in black, white, blue and green next year in China.
Key specs for Realme’s next phone include a 6.62-inch Full-HD + display with support for a built-in fingerprint sensor. Inside the phone will be a 2.84GHz octa-core processor, and speculation is that it could be a Snapdragon 888 unit. This phone may be available in 8GB RAM configurations. , 128 GB of storage and 12 GB of RAM, 256 GB of internal storage. A two-cell battery with a capacity of 2440mAh can power this phone, which means that the typical value can be 5000mAh. The battery can also support 65W fast charging.
The GT Neo 2 type camera design on the back can include a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel secondary camera, and a 2-megapixel camera. On the front, the phone may come with a 16-megapixel camera, possibly inside a punch-hole setup on the screen. All of these specs seem mostly confirmed, but what isn’t is the Android version. Since Realme is rolling out Android 12 to select a few phones right now, this upcoming phone could run Android 11 instead.
Realme is known to launch back-to-back phones, so it’s very possible that this next phone will arrive right after the GT 2 Pro, but it’s not yet clear if the company will pick December for its launch. The GT 2 Pro, meanwhile, will be the company’s next flagship phone with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset under the hood.
